Wow, talk about a huge "Time Capsule" song: Grease (is the word) by the late great Frankie Valli is definitely that. The year was 1978 and the now iconic film Grease was released and yea we loved the movie, it was the soundtrack for me that did it. I still remember sitting with my cousins and flipping through the album song by song when I was maybe 11 years old. Grease was definitely the stand out track and I didn't realize it at the time but the song was written by Barry Gibb from the legendary Bee Gee's. Makes since Right!!! Anywho, DJ's such as DJ Jazzy Jeff would play snippets of Grease in his amazing Hip-Hop sets over the years and I would hear other DJ's play it as well. The crowds would always go bananas whenever it was dropped just because it captures so many happy memories and emotions. Well, I hope to continue that feeling with this dance music interpretation... Enjoy!!!
